Beginning Weight on May 6th: 295 lbs.

Weight on June 30th: 256 lbs.

I started the Weight Loss Challenge on May 6th weighing 295 pounds and as of  June 30th, I weigh 256 pounds and I’ve lost 7 inches around my stomach! I’m still using Soul, Vapor, and Pure daily while replacing a meal with Thrive 3-4 times a week. I feel better now than I have in years: my energy level continues to improve, my knee pains have completely gone away, and I’ve noticed I have much more stamina than before. I’m able to eat regular portion sizes now and feel satisfied. Also, along with everything else, my wedding ring fits for the first time in fifteen years!

I have been a yo-yo dieter since the fourth grade. My mother put me on the shake diet, the cabbage soup diet, the juice diet, and so many others. I’m discovering that the next, new fad “diet” isn’t the answer but a lifestyle change that I can live with the rest of my life IS the answer!

My name is Robert Carfield and I began the Rain Fitness club on May 2nd. My beginning Weight was 235 lbs. On June 3rd I had lost a total of 23 lbs and had dropped almost two pants sizes. I was feeling very uncomfortable in 36” waist and had actually broken down and purchased some 38’s. Currently it’s June 17th and I am at 205 lbs and am feeling very comfortable in my 34’s. More importantly I feel so much better and have more energy than I have had in years. At 41 years old I am an active Paramedic working night shifts and the challenges of the stress and physical demands have been a factor for years, but now I can hang in there with the guys half my age…I love it!

I love the program and the products. I have done my best to stay as close to the program as possible but as we all know 100% compliance is impossible. Having said that I want to say that the program is forgiving and easy to pick back up the very next meal.

I want to thank the Rain Health Club and the entire Rain Nutrition team for giving us such wonderful and effective products.

Since starting this challenge on May 21, 2010, the most difficult for thing me is giving up sugar.  I am a nurse working nights in a correctional facility; donuts, candy, chips and junk food are the daily fair.  Vapor and Thrive have taken away most of my cravings.

I love experimenting with new flavors and ways to use the Thrive. I do not see this as a “diet” but as a complete life style change.

Weight Loss with Rain Nutrition Products

Dr. Jewkes addresses weight loss questions with Rain Nutrition Products:

I have received some questions about our weight loss program and how some are losing weight faster than others.  Let me explain some of the facts about why this happens.

First of all this happens with almost all weight loss programs.  Everyone has different metabolisms.  There are varying factors that play into success of pounds lost.  Remember our program is a marathon not a sprint.  Age, eating habits, exercise, medications, hormones, even genetics will affect your weight loss program.

We would encourage those of you that have not seen immediate changes with your weight to continue to be patient.  In my professional opinion I still think the key to success is to also implement the other four products that Rain Nutrition started out with.  Soul, Pure, Storm, and Rush play an important role with your body’s ability to repair and correct the wear and tear of daily grind of eating habits, oxidative stress, inflammation, immune weakness, and imbalanced hormones.  We have had many lose weight with these wonderful products before our weight loss program was introduced at our launch.

Don’t quit after a month or so.  Be diligent and persevere and in most cases once the body starts to change its metabolism you should see the pounds start to reduce.  Remember those with the most weight to lose will see quicker results.  Make sure that your exercise is adequate, that you are drinking plenty of water and check with your doctor or pharmacist and find out if there may be a medication prescribed that might be slowing and interfering with your metabolism.  I have seen this be a common thread in my own practice with patients trying to lose weight.

Review your caloric intake and exercise program and you may even have to increase the dosage of the vapor to help kick start your body.  Good luck and stay positive.

Many people would like to believe  that as long as they take their vitamin supplements they can keep eating all the “bad” foods that they love.  But you cannot rely on diet, supplements, or exercise alone to keep you healthy.  All three are essential.  Rain Nutrition has provided a balanced program for that gradual and consistent weight loss and balanced health profile, if followed with diet and exercise.  I have put together a diet check questionnaire to assist you with our program.

  1. Do you add sugar to food or drink almost every day?
  2. Do you eat foods with added sugars almost every day?
  3. Do you use salt in your food?
  4. Do you drink more than one cup of coffee most days?
  5. Do you drink more than three cups of tea most days?
  6. Do you smoke more than five cigarettes a day?
  7. Do you drink more than 10 oz. of alcohol a day?
  8. Do you eat fried food more than twice a week?
  9. Do you eat processed fast food more than twice a week?

10. Do you eat red meat more than twice a week?

11. Do you often eat foods containing additives and preservatives?

12.Do you eat chocolate or sweets more than twice a week?

13. Does less than a third of your diet consist of raw fruit and vegetables?

14.Do you drink less than ½ pint (300 ml) of plain water each day?

15. Do you normally eat white rice, flour, or bread rather than whole-grain?

16.  Do you drink more than 3 pints of milk a week?

17.Do you eat more than three slices of bread a , on average?

18.Are there some foods you feel “addicted” to?

19.Do you eat oily fish less than twice a week and/or seeds less than daily?

A score of:  0-4: you are obviously a health-conscious individual and minor indiscretions are unlikely to affect you health.

A score of: 5-9: you are on the right track, but must be a little stricter with yourself.   Rather than giving up you bad habits, set yourself easy experiments.  For instance, for one month go without two or three of the foods or drinks you know are not good for you.  Aim  to have you score below five within three months.

A score of: 10-14: your diet is not good and you will need to make some changes to be able to reach optimum health.  But take it a step at a time. You should aim to have your score down 5 within six months.  Remember sugar, salt, coffee, and chocolate are all addictive foods.  Your cravings will dramatically decrease or go away altogether after one month without them.

A score of: 15-19: There is no way you can continue to eat like this and remain in good health.  Follow the advice in the above paragraph and carefully and make gradual and permanent changes to your lifestyle.  For instance, take two questions to which you answered yes and make changes so that one month later you could answer no ( one example would be to stop eating sugar and drinking coffee in the first month).  Keep doing this until your score is five or less.  You may feel worse for the first two weeks, but with a month you begin to feel the positive effects of health eating.
